RTS Tech Stands the Test of Time at TED Countdown Nairobi

RTS Tech Stands the Test of Time at TED Countdown Nairobi

At the TED Countdown Nairobi Edition, RTS didn’t just support seamless comms - it proved that durability never goes out of style.

Broadcast Engineer Rogers Mbugua deployed a 2002 Cronus intercom matrix, alongside KP416BL and KP632-24 keypanels from the mid-2000s - all long since EOL (End of Life) and EOS (End of Support). Despite their age, the fully analog RTS system integrated flawlessly with modern wireless solutions like HME and Hollyland, delivering low-latency, interference-free comms across the venue.

The result? A hybrid communications network built on unstoppable legacy tech - still performing at mission-critical levels more than two decades later.

RTS: Backward compatible. Battle-tested. Built to last.
